It is simple. Just click on the REGISTER or ENROLL links. The register link is usually near the top of the page. Then fill out the form with your basic information. You will need to have your license number and the citation number for the ticket you received. After you have completed that, you will be able to start taking the course.
The curriculum is designed to take the average person about six hours to complete. But if you need more or can finish it in less time, that is OK. There is no required amount of time. You can also break the course down into smaller segments of time. So, if you want to just do a little each day, that is permissible.
Different courts have different criteria for traffic school eligibility. The most common criterion is that you cannot take traffic school for a violation that occurred within 18 months of a previous citation for which you attended traffic school. However, you should always check with the court to make sure your ticket will be dismissed by taking this course.
The only thing you need is a web browser. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, and Chrome are all fully compatible with this course. Any of these browsers is all you will need.
Any operating system that runs the above-listed browsers should be compatible. Mac, Linux, and Microsoft (PC) operating systems should all function properly.

Some courts require that identification be established for the student taking the final exam. There are various ways to authenticate your identity. The most common is online verification in which background information is provided by the student and checked with various databases such as credit records. The fee for this verification is $5. Another form is verification is by Notary Public, which is available everywhere throughout the US. Any additional cost for Notary services, typically about $5 to $15, will be the student's responsibility. Some courts also provide an option for the use of a web cam for identity verification which includes a $5 fee.

For some courts there is a web cam option. In the web cam process students click on that option and are then taken to our instruction page for the web cam. The students will have to place a driver license in front of the web cam so it shows clearly within the markings on the computer screen. Students will then be instructed to show their face in front of the web cam until we can see that it matches the DL. Thereafter they go to our final examination page and take the final. They are instructed while taking the test to touch a particular portion of the screen which allows us to take another picture. If they pass the test and all ID verifications are acceptable we will issue the Completion Certificate and forward it to the Court.
Call or email Key Traffic School and we will try to correct the error. In most cases we can easily change the court and you can continue with the same course.
